Our enhanced+ package provides a huge scope of support services ranging from an absence management programme, to financial advice for employees.

Choosing this option means that if you have any uncertainty you can refer a member of staff to us without having to worry about your budget.

Enhanced+ Services
If you choose the ENHANCED+ option, you and your staff will have access to all features from the 'standard and enhanced' packages, and all of the below services:
Cognitive behavioural therapy

A branch of psychotherapy ideal for treating mental health issues by addressing negative thoughts and feelings.

Management training

Offering the management at your school help and advice on dealing with employees and their welfare.

Mental health awareness training

Breaking down the stigma attached to mental health and encouraging staff to address issues before they become too severe.

Nutritional / dietician support

Helping you and your staff to maintain a healthy and balanced diet.

Employee / HR support

Giving you a point of contact for HR and employment related issues.

HR policy and procedure advice

For some the initial step is implementing the appropriate policies and procedures within your school. We’ll get you started with this in a way that fits your school and its existing policies.

Risk assessments

For most employers they’re obliged to conduct risk assessments for employees. We can do this for you and offer the appropriate advice for any adjustments needed.

Absence management programme

Monitoring levels of absenteeism, patterns in absences and any reoccurring illnesses will help your school to put the appropriate procedures and interventions in place to improve employee health in the future.

Mediation

Offering an independent and impartial mediation service between employer and employee in the event of a dispute or disagreement.

Financial support and advice

We offer support and advice from fully qualified financial advisors via our employee assistance programme.

Looking to put on a health and wellbeing event? We’ll do all the leg work for you.

Stress management training

Stress is the single biggest cause of unplanned absence days, yet amongst many there is still quite a stigma attached to it. Our managing stress workshop will help you to identify early signs of stress and take the appropriate action before it interferes too heavily with your work or personal life. It offers advice on avoiding or dealing with stressful situations, managing workloads and maintaining a healthy work-life balance. This workshop will promote self-esteem and a positive mental attitude in the workplace, as well as reducing future levels of stress. By raising the profile of stress and offering some helpful tips you will notice a reduction in the levels of stress related absences.

Occupational health physician appointments, if referred by APL Health

If required we will refer appointments to an occupational health physician for a more detailed clinical diagnosis.

Personal trainer appointments, if referred by APL Health

For members of staff struggling with weight or strength issues we’ll refer to a personal trainer for a more structured health program.

MRI scans, if referred by APL Health

If a member of staff requires an MRI scan we’ll make the referral on your behalf and manage the process ourselves.

Headteacher / special educational needs teacher supervision

Our qualified supervisors can offer the necessary supervision for head teachers and special educational needs teachers.
